Job description

Position Overview

The Senior Product Manager – Personalization leads strategy and execution for core personalization at Netflix, leveraging data and AI to enhance member experience worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Craft and communicate a strategic roadmap for core personalization.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams of AI scientists, engineers, consumer insights researchers, and human data sourcing partners.
  • Shape product strategy and evolve the platform to impact how members enjoy Netflix.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and design teams to build consumer‑facing products and algorithms.
  • Prioritize and launch impactful AI‑driven recommendation systems and related products.
  • Drive product goals, launch timelines, and measurable business impact.
  • Execute experiments, analyze results, and maintain a healthy skepticism.
  • Present technical content to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with broader business context and strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with personalized consumer‑facing products.
  • Experience creating and managing evaluation frameworks.
  • Experience managing AI‑driven consumer products (e.g., recommendation systems) with a record of launching impactful platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership working with data scientists, engineers, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong statistical acumen and ability to collaborate with data scientists.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical content to non‑technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to incorporate larger business context into product development.
  • Technical background combined with a strong product sense.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $310,000.00 – $545,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including health plans, mental health support, 401(k) with employer match, stock options, disability programs, health savings, flexible spending accounts, family‑forming benefits, and paid leave of absence programs.
