Job description

Responsibilities

Mountain Youth Academy is nestled in Mountain City, Tennessee which is conveniently located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the  evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Risk Management Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of our organization’s risk management strategies. This role will help identify potential risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist in maintaining a safe and secure operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating organizational risks
  • Maintain and update risk management policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Coordinate risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
  • Track and report key risk indicators (KRIs) and mitigation efforts
  • Collaborate with departments to implement risk reduction strategies
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership
  • Maintain documentation related to risk and compliance activities
