The Senior Director, Procurement is responsible for leading the commercial execution of FORMA Brands' innovation pipeline while developing the sourcing strategies, commercial capabilities, supplier governance and procurement processes that strengthen the Procurement function.


This role partners closely with Product Development, Packaging Engineering, Finance, Operations, Quality, Supply Planning and strategic suppliers to establish the commercial framework that guides new product development from concept through commercialization. The role ensures product cost targets, pricing assumptions, supplier selection, margin objectives and sourcing strategies are aligned throughout the innovation lifecycle to improve speed to market, profitability and execution.


In addition, this role leads supplier governance, commercial excellence and strategic sourcing initiatives that improve supplier performance, strengthen Procurement capabilities and establish scalable processes that support long-term business growth.


This role requires a highly collaborative procurement leader with strong commercial acumen, technical sourcing expertise and analytical capability. The Senior Director, Procurement must thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while influencing cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement across the global supplier network.


Principle Accountabilities:

· Lead the commercial procurement process for new product innovation by partnering with Product Development, Packaging Engineering and Finance from concept through commercialization.

· Develop and manage the innovation costing process, including target cost development, supplier quotations, pricing validation, margin analysis, cost optimization and commercial governance throughout product development.

· Partner with Product Development to evaluate product designs, packaging solutions, material selections and supplier recommendations that achieve product cost and margin objectives.

· Develop sourcing strategies and supplier selection recommendations that balance innovation, speed to market, quality, cost and supply continuity.

· Develop global category strategies that strengthen supplier competitiveness and support business growth.

· Build and implement should-cost models, total cost of ownership analyses and commercial frameworks that support fact-based negotiations and sourcing decisions.

· Lead strategic supplier negotiations, value engineering initiatives and commercial optimization projects.

· Develop supplier governance frameworks, supplier scorecards, KPIs and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) processes that improve supplier performance and accountability.

· Lead supplier capability development, corrective action programs and continuous improvement initiatives across the strategic supplier network.

· Develop procurement policies, sourcing standards, governance processes and operational best practices that improve organizational effectiveness and consistency.

· Drive procurement transformation initiatives, including analytics, reporting, process standardization, digital tools and continuous improvement programs.

· Partner with Operations, Supply Planning and Quality to strengthen supplier risk management, capacity planning and business continuity across the global supply base.

Vice President, Procurement, Product Development, Packaging Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, Supply Planning, PMO, Brand, Regulatory, Legal, Strategic Suppliers and Manufacturing Partners.

Requirements:

· 8+ years in a sourcing, procurement or supplier management leadership position within beauty, personal care, consumer packaged goods or a related manufacturing industry.

· Demonstrated experience supporting new product commercialization and cross-functional innovation programs.

· Strong experience partnering with Product Development and Finance to establish product cost targets, pricing assumptions and sourcing strategies.

· Demonstrated experience developing should-cost models, total cost of ownership analyses and commercial business cases.

· Experience leading supplier negotiations, supplier selection and value engineering initiatives.

· Experience developing supplier governance programs, scorecards, KPIs and performance management processes.

· Experience driving procurement process improvements, procurement transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.

· Strong analytical capability with experience using data to support commercial decision-making.

· Experience working with global manufacturing partners, particularly across Asia.

· Proven ability to communicate effectively, influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

· Proficiency with procurement analytics, financial modelling and dashboard reporting.

· Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
