Your Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the design, strategy, and governance of our HR and Finance application landscape. This role is central to driving our Oracle Fusion cloud transformation and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion SaaS and PaaS, combined with a strong architectural background overseeing complex, bespoke application ecosystems.

About You:

  • You must have Oracle Fusion Fast Formulas, BIP/OTBI reporting, HDL/HSDL data loading.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code - 
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, automation pipelines, and Git.
  • Strong understanding of OCI monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and cost management
  • Advise and participate in Disaster Recovery Planning and Execution.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, SOX, and data privacy frameworks as they apply to HR and Finance systems.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex solutions on multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with LINUX and Windows Oss.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Projects, SharePoint, TEAMS.


Functional

  • Strong understanding of HR processes: Hire-to-Retire, Payroll, Talent Management, Workforce Planning.
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes: Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture, data model, and security model.


Soft Skills

Your Role:

Architecture & Design

  • You will define and own the Oracle Application architecture for HR and Finance domains, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology roadmap with a focus on scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead end-to-end technical architectural design of Oracle Fusion HCM, ERP, EPM, and other solutions across SaaS and PaaS layers.
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, solution design documents, and technical standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, platforms, and frameworks to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide architectural oversight across multiple bespoke and third-party systems, ensuring cohesion, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Drive continuous improvement through standardization of best practices and proactive performance monitoring. Ensure all solutions adhere to security standards, compliance regulations, and performance targets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP Security, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data security policies.
     

Oracle Fusion & Cloud

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to design, implement, and optimize comprehensive solutions integrating Oracle Cloud SaaS (ERP, HCM, EPM) with PaaS (OIC, VBCS, OCI ATP, FTP).
  • Design and govern cloud-native integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architecture, and middleware platforms.
  • Lead the architecture of Oracle PaaS extensions to customize and extend Fusion applications without compromising upgrade paths.
  • Oversee Oracle Fusion release management, assessing quarterly updates for architectural impact.
  • Deep background in cloud security, governance, Zero Trust, and enterprise architecture.
     

Integration & Data

  • Architect enterprise-grade cloud integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Informatica, banking systems, and payroll providers)
  • Define integration standards, API governance frameworks, and data exchange protocols.
  • Collaborate with data teams to design data flows, master data management (MDM) strategies, and reporting architectures.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across integrated systems.

Governance & Oversight

  • Provide technical leadership and architectural governance across project teams, development squads, and system integrators.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and design approvals for all significant changes to the HR and Finance application portfolio.
  • Establish and enforce design patterns and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and architectural risks.
     

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide senior developers and technical leads across project teams.
  • Engage with Oracle product teams and external vendors to influence roadmap alignment.
