I have a full-time opportunity for a Director, Finance - IT & Infrastructure Business Systems for one of our top-tier clients. This role can be based in St Paul MN or Austin, TX, reporting to the Sr Director of Business Management. This is a large organization with over 70,000 employees and offers high visibility.

This position requires onsite presence 3 days a week in either St Paul or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain an IT Business Management framework and policies to align IT Financials with IT delivery and business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with IT leadership and Finance to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  3. Analyze monthly financial variances and main drivers with IT and Finance teams.
  4. Manage IT costs, including hardware, software, personnel, third-party labor, and other expenditures, ensuring alignment with business needs and budgets.
  5. Identify opportunities to optimize IT spending and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
  6. Work with the IT Cost Transparency team on expense organization and service costing models.
  7. Monitor and report on financial performance metrics and KPIs, driving them to optimal levels with IT leadership.
  8. Assist in project costing, ongoing cost management, and ROI measurement for IT investments.
  9. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to IT and business stakeholders.
  10. Support business cases for IT investments through financial analysis and modeling.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends in IT financial management and foster continuous improvement.
  12. Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or IT Financial Management in diverse environments.
