Job description

Summary:

The Senior Director, Oracle Fusion Platform & Transformation is responsible for leading the enterprise Oracle Fusion strategy, platform execution, and large-scale business transformation initiatives across the organization. This leader will drive measurable business outcomes through modernization, platform optimization, operational excellence, and disciplined delivery across the Oracle ecosystem, including ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, OTL, OIC, RMCS, and adjacent enterprise platforms.

This role requires a highly technical, financially astute, and commercially minded leader who can operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels. The position will lead a Director-level leader responsible for multiple technical engineering and delivery teams, while partnering closely with executive leadership, finance, accounting, operations, HR, supply chain, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the enterprise Oracle Fusion platform strategy, roadmap, governance, and transformation execution across business and technology domains.
  • Drive large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and transformation programs from strategy through stabilization and optimization.
  • Partner closely with finance, accounting, HR, supply chain, and operational business leaders to ensure technology initiatives directly support enterprise business outcomes and operational goals.
  • Own delivery outcomes tied to operational efficiency, automation, financial rigor, scalability, compliance, and business performance improvements.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the business, helping translate operational pain points and transformation objectives into scalable platform capabilities and measurable results.
  • Lead and develop a Director-level leader responsible for engineering, delivery, architecture, platform operations, and support teams across the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Establish a high-performance, outcome-oriented delivery culture focused on accountability, disciplined speed, execution quality, and measurable business value realization.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align Oracle platform investments with enterprise priorities, transformation objectives, and financial targets.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives involving ERP, HCM, SCM, RMCS, OTL, procurement, finance, workforce management, integrations, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Oversee enterprise integration strategy across Oracle Fusion, OIC, middleware, APIs, SaaS platforms, cloud providers, and adjacent enterprise applications.
  • Ensure platform resiliency, scalability, security, disaster recovery readiness, compliance alignment, and operational support maturity.
  • Partner with PMO, finance, and accounting teams to ensure appropriate capitalization treatment, financial governance, investment tracking, and value realization across Oracle transformation programs.
  • Drive adoption of modern delivery methodologies, release governance, testing discipline, DevOps practices, and environment management strategies.
  • Influence organizational design, talent strategy, operating models, and capability development across Oracle platform and applications teams.

Skills and Competencies:

Deep experience leading Oracle Fusion migrations, cloud transformations, platform modernization programs, integration strategies, organizational change, and enterprise-scale operational improvements. This individual must be highly outcome-driven and capable of aligning technology investments to EBITDA impact, operational efficiency, scalability, compliance, risk reduction, and enterprise business enablement.

This leader will also help shape the organization's Oracle AI strategy, including the adoption and operationalization of Oracle AI capabilities across ERP, HCM, SCM, analytics, automation, and enterprise workflows. The ideal candidate understands how AI-enabled capabilities within the Oracle ecosystem and adjacencies can improve operational efficiency, decision-making, workforce productivity, financial insights, and enterprise automation outcomes.

Leadership Characteristics:

  • Highly outcome-driven and execution-focused.

  • Strong balance of technical depth, financial acumen, and business leadership.

  • Operates with urgency, accountability, and disciplined decision-making.

  • Able to simplify complexity and drive organizational alignment across both technology and business organizations.

  • Builds strong partnerships with business stakeholders and operates as a trusted advisor, not just a technology leader.

  • Builds high-performing teams and scalable operating models.

  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity and enterprise transformation at scale.

  • Focused on business value realization, operational improvement, and measurable enterprise outcomes - not just technology delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience across Oracle enterprise platforms, cloud transformation, and enterprise technology delivery.
  • 7+ years leading large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud environments and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Proven experience leading Oracle Fusion migrations from on-premises platforms, legacy ERP ecosystems, or hybrid environments into Oracle Cloud.
  • Deep expertise across Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, OIC, RMCS, and enterprise integration architectures.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations, including ERP financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, capitalization considerations, close processes, audit/compliance controls, and technology financial governance.
  • Experience partnering directly with finance, accounting, and operational business leaders to drive enterprise transformation outcomes.
  • Experience leading Directors, senior managers, architects, engineering teams, and large cross-functional delivery organizations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, platform engineering, integration patterns, security, governance, and operational support models.
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable business outcomes through technology transformation initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including experience presenting to CIOs, CFOs, ELT, and board-level audiences.
  • Experience managing complex vendor ecosystems, systems integrators, and multi-million-dollar transformation budgets.
  • Experience driving organizational change management and enterprise adoption efforts during large-scale transformations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility transformation environments with significant executive attention.
