Job description

Mansfield Hall is interested in connecting with experienced academic leaders who are passionate about supporting neurodivergent students in post-secondary education. This posting reflects an expression of interest for future Academic Director opportunities across Mansfield Hall sites. Timing and location depend on program needs.
About the Role
Academic Directors serve as lead academic case managers and coaches for students, supporting academic success, executive functioning, and self-advocacy within a residential living and learning environment. This role blends direct student support, family partnership, systems thinking, and team leadership.
Academic Directors may:
  • Provide individualized academic case management and weekly 1:1 coaching
  • Support students with organization, coursework planning, accommodations, and campus navigation
  • Maintain proactive communication with families and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Student Life and coaching teams to support whole-student development
  • Supervise and develop academic staff as assigned
  • Partner with campus and community resources
  • Participate in shared on-call rotations

A bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degrees and supervisory experience are valued.
