The Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating manufacturing equipment and supporting production processes across multiple operator functions within the plant. This role is cross-trained in various production areas, including roll forming and general production operations, to ensure flexibility, efficiency, and continuous workflow.Operators play a critical role in producing high-quality products used in mining, tunneling, and construction applications, while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment such as roll formers, presses, and other manufacturing machinery.

  • Perform basic machine setup and adjustments to maintain production flow.

  • Load/unload materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain production pace to meet daily and weekly output targets.

  • Learn and perform tasks in various production roles to increase operational efficiency.

  • Support other departments or processes to ensure continuous operations.

  • Work across multiple operator stations as needed based on production demands.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.

  • Ability to operate machinery and perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude (including ability to change wires or minor components).

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.

  • Strong attention to safety and quality.

  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and as needed.
