Position Summary

We are seeking a disciplined Director Operations Project Management to lead GrayWolf Modular’s project-management function across complex engineered-to-order modular infrastructure programs. This role will convert booked work into controlled factory and field execution by aligning engineering release, procurement, production sequencing, testing, logistics, and site interface requirements. The Director Operations Project Management will drive schedule discipline, risk management, change control, and customer communication across a fast‑moving mission‑critical delivery environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the project management function that turns booked work into structured execution across engineering, procurement, production, testing, logistics, and field support.
  • Drive integrated master schedules tied to engineering release, long‑lead material, production readiness, FAT / testing, shipment, and site requirements.
  • Own change control, scope management, issue escalation, risk logs, customer reporting, and internal governance cadence.
  • Translate contract requirements into executable plans across engineering, supply chain, production, warehouse, quality, testing, and site‑support teams.
  • Create a visible operating rhythm around priorities, milestones, constraints, recovery plans, and accountability.
  • Coordinate customer‑facing communication in a way that is organized, direct, and commercially aware.
  • Improve handoffs between sales, estimating, engineering, supply chain, production, testing, and field support.
  • Drive forecast visibility around revenue timing, schedule risk, cost exposure, and execution health.
  • Support continuous improvement of GrayWolf’s overall execution system as project volume and complexity increase.
Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of project management, program leadership, or operations‑delivery experience in modular construction, industrial manufacturing, mission‑critical infrastructure, or engineered equipment environments.
  • Proven success leading cross‑functional execution across engineering release, procurement, production, testing, shipment, site interface, and closeout on high‑value, schedule‑sensitive programs.
  • Strong schedule, risk, change‑control, and customer‑reporting discipline in engineered‑to‑order operations.
  • Ability to create accountability across supply chain, production control, quality, testing, logistics, and field‑support teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain order under pressure and surface issues early with recommended actions.

Preferred

  • Experience with modular data center infrastructure, switchgear, HVAC equipment, power buildings, skids, or enclosures.
  • Knowledge of field installation, commissioning, turnover, and punch‑list closeout.

Education

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; PMP, MBA, or similar credential preferred.

Software & Technology

Required

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, ERP / MRP systems, Excel, and dashboard reporting tools.

Work is performed across office, manufacturing, testing, and occasional field environments. This role requires regular interaction with plant teams and periodic travel to customer sites, vendor locations, and project meetings.

Reasonable accommodations will be made upon request for those who have disabilities that qualify under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
