Global Director of Procurement & Sourcing

Location: Tulsa, OK

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-looking Global Director of Procurement & Sourcing to lead a critical function at the intersection of commercial strategy, operational execution, and supply chain performance.

This executive will be responsible for shaping and executing a global sourcing vision that drives competitive advantage, strengthens supplier ecosystems, and ensures reliable, cost-effective delivery to meet evolving business and customer demands. The role requires a leader who elevates procurement beyond a transactional function—positioning it as a strategic enabler of growth, resilience, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a multi-year global sourcing strategy aligned with enterprise priorities, growth objectives, and market dynamics
  • Provide executive leadership over global category management, spanning direct materials, engineered systems, and complex fabricated components
  • Architect and sustain strategic supplier partnerships that deliver long-term value across cost, quality, innovation, and risk mitigation
  • Drive enterprise-wide total cost of ownership (TCO) initiatives through disciplined commercial negotiations, value engineering, and cross-functional alignment
  • Implement and institutionalize world-class supplier performance management frameworks, including KPI governance, scorecards, and executive business reviews
  • Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risk through global sourcing strategies, supplier diversification, and capacity planning
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure early supplier integration across product development and project execution
  • Ensure alignment between demand, production, and procurement, enabling consistent material availability and operational continuity
  • Lead working capital optimization through advanced inventory strategies that balance service levels, risk, and financial performance
  • Champion digital transformation across procurement and planning functions, leveraging ERP systems, advanced analytics, and automation to enhance decision-making and execution speed
  • Oversee subcontracting strategy and execution, including supplier identification, qualification, and quality management in complex manufacturing environments

Qualifications

Required

  • Extensive leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management within a global manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success leading large, complex, and geographically dispersed organizations, with a track record of driving transformation and measurable results
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategy and drive performance
  • Proven experience in subcontracting and supplier quality management within engineered or project-based businesses

Preferred

  • Experience with advanced operating frameworks, including demand-driven models, critical chain methodologies, ERP systems, and S&OP processes
  • Track record of building and leading global sourcing organizations at scale
  • Deep expertise in supplier relationship management (SRM) strategy design and execution
