The mission of Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) is to win people to Jesus Christ, train believers to become disciples, and send disciples to impact the world. The Broadcast Technical Associate helps to manage and support all broadcast video, and networking systems for CCV Production and the Broadcast Campus. This person is skilled in multiple areas of AVL systems, is team-oriented, and a self-starter with a high attention to detail, excellence, and execution.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as primary support for CCV Live, including weekend prep, service execution, online directing, and coordination with key production and pastoral staff.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop CCV Live volunteers to build and sustain a healthy production team.
  • Support and maintain broadcast video systems and production networks in collaboration with the Lead Video Director, including troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, testing, documentation, and organization.
  • Execute weekend services across multiple roles (e.g., IMAG Director, Online Director, Video Engineer, Shader, CCV Live Support) to ensure consistent production quality and excellence.
  • Partner with the Peoria campus staff and Broadcast Production team to support services, events, and special projects, ensuring systems are prepared, organized, and issues are resolved quickly.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of live production experience
  • Sharp attention to detail and proven track record of managing systems and processes
  • Minimum 2 years of experience successfully training volunteers or staff.
  • Key hardware experience: Barco, Clearcom, Grand MA, Ross switchers, Grass Valley video servers, Panasonic Varicam, ROE, Brompton, Resi, Q-sys.
  • Key software experience:  Planning Center Online, Pro Presenter, Keynote, Resolume, MA on PC
