Job description

New Tech Global is currently seeking an Office Administrator in Springtown, TX.
Overview
The Office Administrator will serve as the first point of contact for the facility by answering phones, receiving and directing visitors, supporting recruiting activities, and providing general administrative support to facility staff and management. This position requires strong customer service, organization, communication, and computer skills, along with the ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities in a professional and timely manner. The role works under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager.
  • Greet and direct visitors, notify appropriate staff of arrivals, and maintain a professional front-office environment.
  • Maintain facility security by following visitor procedures and controlling access as required.
  • Operate a multi-line phone system, route calls to the appropriate personnel, and provide courteous customer service.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, deliveries, couriers, correspondence, and other incoming information.
  • Provide general office support, including filing, copying, scanning, faxing, email notifications, and document preparation.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders, code invoices, and assist with invoice-related administrative processing.
  • Verify, enter, and maintain information in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and other office documents with a high level of accuracy.
  • Handle confidential business and employee information in accordance with company confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Support the efficient operation of office equipment, coordinate repairs when needed, and maintain office and supply inventories.
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding, including processing paperwork, coordinating pre-employment verifications, and helping ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Assist recruiting efforts through local outreach and networking, job fairs, college and military recruiting events, and application assistance for walk-in candidates.
  • Perform additional administrative and office-support duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines while remaining calm and professional when challenges arise.
  • Resourceful, proactive, organized, and able to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and sit for extended periods while performing computer and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends or holidays, when required.
  • Ability to maintain a full-time schedule and travel occasionally to recruiting events or job fairs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist, office administration, or office support role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Secondary education beyond high school.
  • Experience in the oilfield services industry.
Working Conditions
  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal safety or health hazard exposure.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, with occasional lifting and bending and frequent near-vision use for reading, computer work, telephone use, and other office equipment.
