  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including pay transparency, wage and hour requirements, and emerging legislation.
  • Develop communication strategies and educational resources that help leaders confidently make compensation decisions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market data, and evolving Total Rewards practices to ensure Fleet Farm remains competitive.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for a collaborative leader who enjoys solving complex business challenges and influencing organizational strategy through data-driven decision making.
Qualified candidates will have:
  • Significant experience leading Compensation and/or Total Rewards programs within a complex, multi-location organization.
  • Expertise in compensation philosophy, market pricing, job evaluation, salary structures, incentive design, and pay equity.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret compensation data and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership to influence compensation and workforce decisions.
  • Demonstrated success leading annual compensation planning, budgeting, and salary administration processes.
  • Knowledge of federal and state compensation regulations, compliance requirements, and emerging market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading organizational change, process improvement, and HR technology initiatives.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation systems; UKG experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting retail, distribution, manufacturing, or other multi-location organizations is preferred.
