In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product reliability and customer satisfaction, working closely with the CTO and other engineering leaders to ensure timely, defect-free product launches.CenTrak’s diverse portfolio encompasses critical solutions, including Asset Tracking & Management, Nurse Call Automation, Clinical Operations and Workflow, Patient, Staff and Newborn Protection, Temperature Monitoring, and Hand-Hygiene Compliance/Infection Control hardware and IoT software programs. The Director of Test Engineering will play a pivotal role in establishing CenTrak as a market leader in product reliability and customer satisfaction, ensuring that our hardware and software solutions consistently meet or exceed industry standards.This position reports directly to the CTO and requires close collaboration with Engineering leadership, Product Management, Production and Project Management to align on quality objectives, drive continuous improvement, and uphold CenTrak’s commitment to excellence.**Responsibilities:*** **Leadership & Strategy:** + Lead the development and execution of the engineering quality and validation strategy for both hardware and software products. + Drive the adoption of best practices in testing, validation, and quality assurance throughout the product development lifecycle. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to ensure a comprehensive approach to product quality. + Employ scaled automation best practices throughout the development process. + Establish PRD traceability and target coverage for all releases.* **Testing & Validation Oversight:** + Maintain a deep understanding of software development technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
