Senior Director – SaaS Sales Operations & Strategy

Location: USA – Long Beach, CA (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

Work Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: USD 195,000 – 250,000 (plus benefits)

Experience Required: 10 – 30 Years

Job Overview: Seeking an expert in sales operations to lead, optimize, and scale direct SaaS sales performance across the U.S. market. The role drives strategy, analytics, process excellence, and collaboration to deliver sustained revenue growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic planning and execution for direct SaaS sales organization.
  • Manage forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline analysis.
  • Oversee CRM (Salesforce) and data integrity for sales reporting.
  • Implement sales enablement tools and standardize dashboards.
  • Monitor KPIs, identify efficiency improvements, and report insights.
  • Align cross-functional teams for smooth sales-to-post-sales handoff.
  • Mentor team leaders to ensure a high-performance sales culture.
  • Partner with executives to craft incentive plans and refine operational policies.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales operations or sales leadership within a SaaS organization.
  • At least 10 years of experience in direct and channel partner sales for SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated success in leading SaaS sales teams, driving measurable revenue growth and operational excellence.
  • Deep knowledge of SaaS sales operations frameworks, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales enablement.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to build models, analyze complex data, and present insights effectively.
  • Hands‑on experience with CRM and analytics tools – Salesforce and Power BI highly preferred; Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to implement and optimize CRM processes, reporting systems, and sales operations strategies.
  • Highly analytical mindset with experience leveraging tools like Power BI or Tableau for decision-making and reporting.
  • Experience selling into industries such as Government, Insurance, Education, and Financial Services.
  • Exceptional leadership and team‑building capabilities, with a track record of motivating and scaling high‑performance sales teams.
