OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.
As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
THE TEAM
Rosewood Residences is a refined collection of estate homes, luxury villas, and apartments thoughtfully curated to enrich the lives of those who call them home. Within an integrated mixed-use development, the residences combine the privacy and exclusivity of luxury homeownership with access to select hotel amenities and services.
The Director of Residences serves as the senior executive responsible for residential operations, homeowner relationships, governance, financial stewardship, and service excellence. Reporting to the Managing Director and partnering closely with global residential leadership, this role ensures homeowners experience exceptional service while maintaining the distinct identity of the residential community.
YOUR ROLE
As Director of Residences, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of Rosewood Calistoga's exclusive collection of 20 luxury residences, creating an environment where homeowners experience the highest levels of luxury, personalization, privacy, and care. Serving as the primary liaison between homeowners, the Residential Association Board, ownership, hotel leadership, and corporate teams, you will balance owner advocacy with operational excellence while ensuring the long-term success and value of the residential asset.
Your leadership will shape every aspect of the homeowner experience, from governance and financial performance to lifestyle programming, community engagement, and integrated service delivery. Possession of Community Association Manager (CAM) license is preferred.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE
  • Lead all residential operations while preserving the unique identity and service culture of the residential community.
  • Serve as the trusted relationship leader for homeowners, the Residential Association Board, ownership representatives, and hotel leadership.
  • Direct residential services including concierge, housekeeping, engineering, security, lifestyle programming, and owner services.
  • Oversee operational performance, financial stewardship, budgeting, reserve funding, capital planning, and vendor management.
  • Partner closely with hotel leaders to create seamless integration of shared facilities, amenities, and services while protecting homeowner interests.
  • Champion exceptional homeowner experiences through personalized service, proactive communication, move-in support, and community engagement programming.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams focused on luxury residential hospitality.
  • Ensure compliance with governance requirements, life safety standards, privacy protocols, and risk management practices while protecting the wellbeing of the community.

COULD THIS BE YOU?
  • You are an exceptional relationship builder who inspires trust with homeowners, leadership teams, ownership representatives, and community stakeholders.
  • You bring leadership experience within luxury residential operations, branded residences, luxury hospitality, private clubs, or mixed-use environments.
  • You have a strong understanding of homeowner association governance, residential operations, and asset management principles.
  • You combine strategic thinking with strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital planning, and operational performance management.
  • You lead with emotional intelligence, discretion, diplomacy, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.
  • You thrive in highly collaborative environments and excel at integrating cross-functional teams around shared goals.
  • You are skilled at balancing homeowner expectations with operational priorities while maintaining exceptional standards and experiences.
  • You enjoy creating meaningful communities and memorable experiences through engagement, programming, and personalized service.

OUR BENEFITS
As part of our team, you'll enjoy a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your wellbeing, professional growth, and life beyond work. This includes medical coverage, retirement benefits, paid time off, complimentary room nights, learning and development opportunities, global career opportunities, and industry-leading paid parental leave supporting eligible associates across all paths to parenthood.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard, and valued. We're a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We're not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them, and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
