Job description

About us
Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.
Our mission is to improve people's health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.
Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We're an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.
In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.
Learn more about our Series C here: Nourish Blog, Bloomberg, Fierce Healthcare, Digital Native, The Pulse Podcast.
This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we're solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.
About the role
As the Director of Revenue Strategy, you'll drive the strategy and execution of the Revenue Strategy roadmap - helping drive revenue collection for the business, managing the P&L for the revenue strategy operations team, and developing a best-in-class patient experience for navigating insurance at Nourish, all while building out a team to support you and driving leadership alignment.
As Director of Revenue Strategy, you will report to the Head of Revenue and Provider Network Strategy and partner closely with leadership including our CEO, CFO, VP of Operations, and VP of Commercial Strategy, while working cross-functionally across the business with teams such as Finance, Commercial Strategy, Operations, and Product & Engineering.
This is a high-ownership, GM-style role - this role is ideal for someone who thrives both building and executing on strategy, enjoys high ownership, and can pair being detail-oriented with the ability to envision the big picture.
This is a unique opportunity to build from the ground up at a mission-driven, fast-growing healthcare company. If you're excited to own complex systems, drive measurable impact across teams, and help scale a high-growth organization, we'd love to meet you.
This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Gramercy.
Key responsibilities:
  • Drive Revenue Strategy & Leadership Alignment: Define and execute the Revenue Strategy roadmap - maximizing revenue collection, driving operational efficiency across the team, building a best-in-class insurance-navigation experience for patients, and standing up 0→1 infrastructure as we expand into new care models and partnerships.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Build and refine analytical models and understand how to use data to guide prioritization across Revenue Strategy and cross-functional teams.
  • Execute on Strategic Roadmap: Act as GM and cross-functional quarterback across Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Product to deliver on the Revenue Strategy roadmap.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to evaluate initiatives, surface insights, and inform executive decision-making.
  • Operating Model Development for New Products & Partnerships: Design the Revenue Strategy operating model for new products and partnerships; build infrastructure from 0→1 and scale it across offerings in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Process Development: Drive alignment across teams and build scalable processes that let new initiatives transition smoothly into core operations.
  • Team Management & Building: Manage a high-performing team of 10+ internal and 30+ external team members.
We'd love to hear from you if:
  • You have 6-10+ years blending strategy work (consulting, finance) with hands-on startup execution, and have owned ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
  • You operate like a GM - you can quarterback across Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Product, build trust with executives, and drive alignment without needing to be the most senior person in the room.
  • You're a first-principles thinker who questions the way things are done, spots better ways of operating, and turns that thinking into real operational change.
  • You're highly analytical and data-driven - you build and refine analytical models, and you use them to drive prioritization and decisions.
  • You're detail-oriented without losing sight of the big picture - you're equally comfortable in the weeds of a P&L or an operating model and stepping back to see how it fits the broader roadmap.
  • You are an exceptional operator - you can build from 0→1, and you enjoy the operational rigor that comes with executing on strategy.
  • You thrive in ambiguity - strong judgment, a bias toward action, and comfort navigating complexity are second nature to you.
