Aronimink Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable and Member Billing Accountant to join our accounting team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of member billing, accounts receivable, and daily financial transactions while providing exceptional service to our membership. ARONIMINK GOLF CLUB WEBSITE: WWW.ARONIMINK.ORGRESPONSIBILITIESReview, research, and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies by preparing exception reports and collaborating with department managers.Process approved credit memos and account adjustments.Audit daily point of sales (POS) transactions and reconcile end-of-day activities.Prepare and distribute monthly member statements and process daily banquet billings.Process member payments and reconcile cash, checks and electronic payments.Respond promptly and professionally to member billing questions and account inquiries.Process and reconcile credit card transactions.Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports and monitor past-due accounts and communicate with members regarding outstanding balances.Reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger.Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.Assist with annual dues billing.Process daily income journals and maintain accurate accounting records.Support internal and external audit requests.Maintain accurate documentation and filing of member billing records.Assist with other accounting and finance projects as assigned.Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree, in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Two or more years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.Experience with Northstar Club Management software is preferred.Experience working in hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or restaurants is a plus.Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to multi-task while remaining focused on the goal.Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlinesStrong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.Other Benefits:Aronimink Golf Club offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical and dental insurancePaid Time OffCompany-matched 401(k) after one year of employmentComplimentary employee mealsHoliday bonus programOpportunity to work in a premier private club environment with a collaborative and supportive team.Reports to: Director of FinanceAronimink Golf Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
