Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care

  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff

  • Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills

  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.

  • Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents

  • Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
    Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
