Job DescriptionOperations Department - Director of Hospital Operations

The Director of Hospital Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for patient flow, capacity management, care progression, and throughput initiatives across the acute care hospital. This position is accountable for optimizing the movement of patients from admission through discharge, improving access to care, maximizing bed utilization, reducing avoidable delays, and enhancing operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality.

The Director works collaboratively with Nursing, Medical Staff, Case Management, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, Diagnostic Services, Environmental Services, and Post-Acute Care partners to create a seamless patient flow model that supports organizational goals and community access needs.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years leading patient flow, hospital operations, case management, nursing operations, or care progression initiatives
