Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: Fairmont, WV
Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee all nursing operations within our skilled nursing facility in Fairmont, West Virginia. The DON will ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff development while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for residents and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs

  • Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure quality resident care and safety

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS guidelines

  • Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies and procedures

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning

  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives

  • Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Oversee infection control, medication management, and clinical documentation

  • Mentor and develop nursing staff through training and performance evaluations

  • Participate in surveys, audits, and accreditation processes

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in West Virginia (or ability to obtain)
