PURPOSE

Lead the vision, strategy and execution of enterprise platform engineering capabilities to deliver secure and scalable technology services. Accountable for platform reliability, operational performance, service excellence, and modernization initiatives that enhance business outcomes, improve user experience, and support the organization's long-term technology strategy.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set the vision, strategy and execution of enterprise platform engineering and solutions design to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready technology capabilities

Introduce innovative technologies and processes that enhances our overall competitive capabilities and coworker productivity

Drive the use of AI to continually improve infrastructure stability, scalability, and security

Oversee platform reliability, operational performance, and service continuity

Drive service delivery excellence with clear service levels, accountability for results, and enhanced user experience

Advance operational efficiency, automation, standardization, and overall platform maturity to improve effectiveness and optimize support models

Work with CIO as part of the IT senior leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources, including budget and headcount

Collaborate with CISO to ensure platform engineering embrace and apply security strategy

Work with HR and the IT senior leadership team to develop and execute workforce plans to meet current and future needs

Manage partnerships across vendors, support providers, and internal stakeholders, including collaboration on platform security and enterprise technology priorities

Leadership and Management

Team Leadership: Coach, mentor and inspire a high-performing team

Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure seamless collaboration between Information Services and other departments

Budget Management: Manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment

Stakeholder Communication: Regularly report progress, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and board of directors

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience leading IT engineering and infrastructure operations teams

Expertise in cloud, platform and infrastructure modernization strategy and operational execution

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence

Strength in operational governance and scalability planning

Strong leadership capabilities, including change leadership and organizational influence

Ability to build cross-functional partnerships that drive business outcomes

Strong accountability and ownership of delivering results

Pay Range:

$171,860.00 - $292,170.00

This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions. It is not typical to initiate pay at the top of the range to account for internal equity and allow for future and continued salary growth
