Are you an experienced Admissions leader with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving enrollment goals?

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead our Admissions Department at our Houston Southwest Campus.

This role is ideal for an experienced Director of Admissions, Admissions Manager, Enrollment Manager, or similar admissions leader who can develop a high-performing team, drive enrollment results, and provide a positive experience for prospective students.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the daily operations and performance of the Admissions Department.

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment goals.

  • Monitor admissions KPIs, including leads, applications, enrollments, starts, and conversion rates.

  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop Admissions team members.

  • Establish performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results.

  • Analyze enrollment data and develop strategies to improve admissions performance.

  • Develop student recruitment, marketing, and community outreach strategies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and external partners.

  • Participate in recruitment events, orientations, networking activities, and public relations initiatives.

  • Work closely with campus and executive leadership on enrollment planning and forecasting.

  • Ensure Admissions activities comply with state, federal, accreditation, and company policies.

  • Prepare admissions and enrollment reports for leadership.

  • Collaborate with Education, Financial Aid, Student Services, Career Services, and other departments.

  • Support prospective students throughout the admissions process and ensure they receive accurate and professional communication.

  • Enroll and start students as needed to support campus enrollment goals.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred, or a combination of education and relevant professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in admissions recruitment, enrollment, or related sales experience.

  • Experience leading, coaching, or supervising a team.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed enrollment, sales, recruitment, or performance goals.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze performance data and develop strategies to improve results.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to ethical admissions practices and student success.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Director of Admissions, Admissions Manager, Enrollment Manager, or similar leadership experience.

  • Experience in higher education, career education, vocational education, or healthcare education.

  • Experience managing an Admissions or Enrollment department.

  • Experience with enrollment KPIs, conversion metrics, forecasting, and performance reporting.

  • Experience developing recruitment and marketing strategies.

  • Experience using CRM, student information, or admissions tracking systems.

  • Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements related to admissions.
