Job description

Position Summary

The Mobile Director of Nursing is responsible for the effective overall management of the Nursing Department on a temporary basis in the assigned region/facility. The Mobile DON will work with other disciplines to provide quality care to all patients/residents in facility. Responsible for assisting assigned facility to comply with appropriate state, federal guidelines/regulations, in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Works with all facility departments to assist in planning, implementing and evaluating patient centered programming. Assists facilities with the interpretation and implementation of company policies and procedures.

Wage CommensurationThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the effective overall management of the Nursing Department on a temporary basis in the assigned region/facility.
  • Works with other disciplines to provide quality care to all patients/residents in facility.
  • Responsible for assisting assigned facility to comply with appropriate state, federal guidelines/regulations, in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Works with all facility departments to assist in planning, implementing and evaluating patient centered programming.
  • Assists facilities with the interpretation and implementation of company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a long term care environment
  • Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN) , BSN preferred with a valid RN license.
  • Reliable transportation required

Travel expense will be paid or reimbursed
