TMH Physician Partners is looking for a Director of Specialty Operations. The Director of Operations provides leadership to fulfill the strategic plan of our practices.  This position is accountable for the operational and financial performance and growth of the practices.  This role has oversight of the Practice Managers, while working in conjunction with the providers in the offices and across the TMH Healthcare system to ensure the highest level of care is met. The role requires strategic thinking, creative problem solving, and influencing abilities to advance the network in growth. Knowledge of how primary and specialty care integrates in a complicated health system is critical to success.

Accountable for the operational performance and achievement of goals for operations, finance, quality, patient satisfaction and employee engagement of the assigned Specialty Care practices.

  • Provides leadership by partnering with other Leaders in various departments including Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Revenue Cycle to optimize opportunities for success.
  • Provides leadership with Primary Care and Urgent Care partners to ensure appropriate collaboration.
  • Identify root causes of operation deficiencies and assist with the development of the best solution.

Reports To:

  • Vice President of Operations [Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Physician Partners] 

Supervises:

  • MS [Medicus Select]/Practice Managers

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration

Required Experience:

  • Eight (8) years of medical office operations experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of how primary care and specialty practices integrate into a complicated health system. 
  • Strategic thinking skills. 
  • Creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to advance the network in growth.
