Position Summary

Responsible for developing and executing and maintaining solutions to meet customer needs for multiple locations. Facilitates the delivery of prepared food created from an event-specific work order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cascades the vision of Quest Food Management Services ensuring the Quest vision, values and founding principles are effectively communicated, understood and practiced.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Quest vision, values and missions through actions on a daily basis.
  • Manage multiple staff (supervisors and hourly team members) units' staff to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation and feedback, and corrective action.
  • Deliver consistent quality in planning and execution of events and day-to-day operation.
  • Leverage established company solutions to ensure consistency, quality and efficiency within consumer driven offerings.
  • Manage multiple teams to ensure quality in final presentation of food and display.
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Responsible for delivering on food and labor targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve multiple revenue forecasts.
  • Train and manage team members to ensure knowledge of food menus, promotional calendars, food safety, cash handling, and station requirements are met
  • Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles.
  • Complete and maintain all staff records including training records, schedules, and performance data.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for multiple related revenue, expenses, and receivables.
  • Handle mulitple events of varied size and scope, including staffing and management.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safe food practices.
  • Follow all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.

Job Requirements/Specifications

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of food service and catering experience and prior experience in a management role
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Uphold HR policies and procedures
  • Solid knowledge of financials
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining state and local certification requirements (Food Service Manager)
