This role combines strategic leadership, financial management, inventory optimization, vendor management, and operational excellence to ensure profitable growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical business leader with strong financial acumen, deep operational expertise, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the national strategy for EquipmentShare's Tooling Solutions and Industrial Supplies businesses to drive revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, and market expansion.

  • Own the overall financial performance of the business, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, capital planning, and profitability analysis.
  • Develop inventory strategies that optimize stock levels, maximize product availability, improve inventory turns, reduce carrying costs, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze inventory performance, demand forecasting, utilization trends, purchasing patterns, and operational metrics to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including tool utilization, inventory accuracy, fill rates, shrinkage, service levels, margin performance, and return on investment.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers and suppliers while evaluating vendor performance related to pricing, quality, service, availability, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and collaborate with vendors on new product introductions, assortment optimization, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Standardize operational processes and best practices across all Tooling Solutions branches to ensure consistency, efficiency, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Branch Leadership to align business objectives and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Leverage business intelligence tools, reporting, and analytics to identify trends, evaluate business performance, and present recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, expand product offerings, increase customer value, and support the continued growth of EquipmentShare's Tooling Solutions and Industrial Supplies businesses.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and customer focus while ensuring safe and compliant operations across all locations.
  • Travel nationally (50-75%) to support regional teams, strengthen customer and vendor relationships, evaluate branch performance, and drive operational consistency across the organization.
