Hiring now for Director of Nursing in Grand Prairie, TX.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing!!

This de novo ASC will be a premier center for orthopedic surgery, led by highly sought-after surgeons from one of the region’s leading orthopedic practices. We are looking for a Director of Nursing to manage the day-to-day clinical operations of this high paced environment Duties include but are not limited to overseeing scheduling of procedures, staffing levels, Physician Preferences, supervision of materials management and maintain the right culture and pace of the Center in the ORS, Pre-Op & PACU. This role works closely with the Administrator, Medical Director and MAC and will actively participate in patient care. Experience working in an ASC as an RN is required. Experience in outpatient orthopedic surgery highly preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center. Orthopedic experience is required for this role. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff credentialing, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current and valid Texas Registered Nurse License required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Leadership role
  • Orthopedic experience required.
  • Current American Heart Assn. BLS and ACLS certifications also required.
