Director of Operations Job Description:

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational functions related to ABA service delivery across the state.

This includes client intake, insurance authorizations, staff recruitment, caseload management, and ongoing communication with families and payers. This role ensures seamless service coordination, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction through efficient operational leadership.

A day in the life:

  • Oversee client onboarding.

  • Serve as key liaison between new clients, internal departments, and clinical teams to ensure smooth onboarding experience.

  • Coordination of scheduling.

  • Manage and track all insurance authorizations and service approvals.

  • Ensuring the utilization of client hours and therapists’ availability.

  • Monitoring client’s insurance plans and Eligibility.

  • Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to ensure proper submissions and follow-up.

  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition team to ensure talented hires and conduct interviews if needed.

  • Address client concerns with professionalism and care.

  • Posting/sharing jobs on Job posting platforms and social media.

  • Marketing initiatives to spread brand awareness for patients and candidates.

  • Strategic planning to grow state.

  • Collaboration with other members of the management team to build and enhance internal strategies.

  • Other tasks as assigned.
