  • Multispecialty FQHC organization serving the Albuquerque and Santa Fe communities
  • Established in 1996 with 3 clinic locations

  • Number of providers: 30 +1 urologist with acquisition 
  • Number of clinic sites: 3 with 1 acquisition currently in progress
  • Annual patient visits: Budgeted for 45,236 2027 fiscal year
  • Approximate patient panel: 10,000 with acquisition potential 2,000 more

About the role:
  • Location: Albuquerque, NM
  • Family Medicine Primary Care - Assistant Medical Director
  • Report to the CMO of the group.
  • Mon - Friday Clinic Hours
  • 50% Clinical Care. 50% Admin / Leadership duties
  • Average Volume on clinic days: 2.6 Patients per hour
  • System-wide Athena EMR
  • Role is open due to growth and increased future capacity of the practice.
  • Provide the full scope of primary medical care to patients including diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of conditions.
  • Group provides primary care, HIV, and Hepatitis C, behavioral health, and pharmacy services
  • The Physician will also document patient visits and monitor and facilitate other activities related to patient care.
  • Call anywhere from 1-4 times a month depending on staffing and vacation schedules. Passes thru a nurse triage service first.
  • Sharing of on call coverage amongst all providers
  • Continued pulse on productivity
  • Alignment with CMO on operational flows with Vendors and anticipated growth and standardization of workflows with Clinical Informatics.
  • Schedule approval and coordination of providers for pto and coverage.
  • Current panel size for normal 1.0 provider is 1080-1350. Prorated for amount of clinical time. This will be less if you are only 50% clinical time
  • Oversee 4 Physicians, 7 NPs, 2 PA's

Background Desired:
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Experienced primary care physician interested in being an Assistant Medical Director
  • Able to hold a New Mexico state Medical License
