Director of Nursing (DON) - Long-Term Care Facility

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department in delivering high-quality care to our residents. As a strong clinical leader with a passion for long-term care, regulatory compliance, and team development, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and mentoring nursing staff.

DON Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent resident care
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and budget oversight
• Participate in surveys and ensure readiness at all times

DON Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience, in LTC/SNF
