Director of Field Sales - Insurcomm Restoration

Portsmouth, NH โ€ข Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Posted 10 days ago

Job description

ABOUT US

Insurcomm Restoration delivers complete restoration, reconstruction, and emergency response for property owners, facility teams, and communities recovering from fire, water, mold, storms, and environmental hazards, backed by more than 30 years in the business. As part of Fortify Companies, we are building a platform that aligns insurance carriers, property owners, and service providers across prevention, response, restoration, and rebuild, delivering coordinated care across 210+ markets nationwide.

OUR BRAND VALUES

We lead with safety first always, showing up with a service heart, bringing the energy, predictability in the unpredictable, and driving success together.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Director of Field Sales, you own field sales leadership across Insurcomm's regional sales organization. You build and run a structured, disciplined sales playbook across every territory, setting activity standards, coaching Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers, and driving consistent execution across markets.

You own revenue generation and spend the majority of your time in the field, holding the team accountable for the adjuster, carrier, and referral relationships that drive assignment volume. Success requires proven field sales leadership, the discipline to build and enforce a repeatable playbook, and the credibility to coach a distributed sales team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Sales Leadership & Team Management

•     Directly manage Regional Sales Managers, with responsibility for their performance, development, and quota attainment.

•     Hold Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers accountable to activity and revenue targets through regular one on ones, ridealongs, and team meetings.

•     Ensure the team builds and maintains the adjuster, carrier, and local referral relationships that drive assignment volume.

Territory & Pipeline Management

•     Own regional territory design, account assignment, and the surge and mobilization plan for catastrophe and large loss events.

•     Identify underperforming territories or reps early and drive corrective action plans.

Sales Playbook & Process

•     Build, document, and refine a structured sales playbook, including weekly touch and in person visit standards per rep.

•     Standardize prospecting, account planning, pipeline management, and pricing guardrails across all regions.

•     Partner with Revenue Operations to align the playbook with CRM structure, reporting, and forecasting.

Cross Functional Coordination & Talent Development

•     Partner with Strategic Accounts, Customer Intake, Operations, and Marketing to keep sales commitments, handoffs, and demand generation on track.

•     Provide Fortify leadership with regular visibility into field sales performance and market conditions.

•     Participate in hiring for Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers and build a bench for future growth.

•     Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

•     A field sales organization that runs on a consistent, disciplined playbook rather than individual habits or branch level improvisation.

•     National carrier commitments that carry through consistently at the local level, with Regional Sales Managers coached to independently drive their teams.

•     Predictable quota attainment across every territory, disciplined pipeline and margin management, and a repeatable ramp process for new hires.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

•     A field sales leader who has carried a bag and led a team, and knows the difference between managing activity and managing outcomes.

•     A coach first, who builds structure and develops Regional Sales Managers into leaders, not just top performers.

•     Comfortable running a weekly operating cadence of pipeline reviews, ridealongs, and structured coaching conversations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

•     7+ years of field sales experience, including at least 3+ years leading a distributed or multiple territory sales team.

•     Experience in restoration, insurance services, facilities services, or another field based B2B service industry strongly preferred.

•     Demonstrated ability to build, document, and enforce a sales playbook across a team, and to coach sales managers, not just individual contributors.

•     Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office, with willingness to travel regularly across territories.

Benefits

WHAT WE OFFER

•     Competitive base salary with performance incentives tied to team quota attainment, plus comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match.

•     Generous PTO, 9 paid holidays, and ongoing leadership development within the Fortify platform.

•     A role with real impact, building the sales engine that gets help to people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

•     The stability of a company with more than 30 years in business and the energy of a growing national brand, with career growth across multiple companies under the Fortify umbrella.

READY TO JOIN US?

If you have built a sales playbook before and know how to make it stick across a distributed team, we want to hear from you. Join Insurcomm and help us show up when it matters most, every time, in every territory.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
