Job Title: Associate Director, Digital Media

Location-Type: Remote (EST Hours preferred)

Hours: 25-30 hours per week

Start Date: Mid- August

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Compensation Range: $49-55/hr W2

Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K

Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship

We are seeking an experienced and strategic digital paid media leader for temporary position. Expected tenure is August 15, 2026, through January 31, 2027. This individual will oversee media strategy, execution, and optimization across paid channels, ensuring continuity, performance, and team leadership during the coverage period. The ideal candidate is a digital paid media expert who can quickly step into a leadership role, manage agency and partner relationships, and drive results across brand and performance media initiatives and manage the agencies who are doing the hands on media buying

Digital Media Strategy & Execution

  • Lead planning, execution, and optimization of paid digital media campaigns across channels including paid social, programmatic, search, video, retail media, and emerging platforms

  • Maintain and evolve digital media strategies aligned with brand, performance, and business objectives

  • Oversee campaign pacing, budgeting, and performance KPIs

Team & Partner Management

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to digital media team members

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media agencies and key external partners

  • Ensure workflows, approvals, and timelines remain on track

Measurement & Optimization

  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights and recommendations

  • Partner with analytics and creative teams to optimize messaging, targeting, and formats

  • Deliver clear, concise performance reporting to senior stakeholders

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with brand, creative, analytics, and sales leaders to ensure integrated campaigns

  • Support launches, seasonal initiatives, and test-and-learn opportunities across digital channels

Continuity & Knowledge Transfer

  • Ensure a smooth transition into and out of the coverage role

  • Document strategies, processes, and key learnings to support long-term team success

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in digital media, performance marketing, or media strategy
  • Must have beauty/skincare/ therapeutic client experience.
  • Proven experience leading paid digital media across multiple channels

  • Strong understanding of media measurement, optimization, and attribution

  • Experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex campaigns in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in brand and performance media integration

  • Familiarity with large-scale budgets and enterprise-level media planning

  • Background in test-and-learn frameworks and emerging media trends
