Vivo HealthStaff is searching for a Director of Development to promote and help facility gifts to a healthcare nonprofit in the Bay Area.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Director will serve as the lead fundraiser for the major gifts and planned giving programs,Oversee the stewardship program and enhance the existing culture of philanthropy.Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.Maintain a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field.Work closely with the Finance team to understand budget projections such that the fundraising plan aligns to meeting those needs.Develop and nurture ongoing relationships with major donors.Develop and execution of special events.Personal solicitations, targeted appeals, special events and planned giving.Create annual and long-range goals and departmental budget for Philanthropy.Develop electronic, print and face-to-face solicitations targeting individuals, businesses and foundations.Liaison to development counsel.Direct and develop legacy giving activities.Oversee the tracking, record keeping, and recognition and stewardship systems.Develop the annual fund development budget and financial reports.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5-7 years in fundraising, donor relations, or related field
