Job Title: Director of Data Management and Reporting

Compensation
Salary Range: $175,000 – $200,000 per year

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Position Summary

As the Director of Data Management and Reporting, you will lead the strategy, governance, and execution of enterprise data and reporting initiatives across a managed care organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant data supports operational, clinical, financial, and regulatory objectives. You will oversee data architecture, reporting environments, analytics programs, and enterprise data governance while fostering a data-driven culture throughout the organization.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and execute enterprise data strategy, governance programs, and data quality standards across all business domains
  • Oversee data architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, reporting platforms, and integration strategies
  • Lead enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives utilizing SQL, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Jaspersoft, and related technologies
  • Manage and develop teams of data engineers, analysts, report developers, and business systems professionals
  • Support regulatory reporting, operational dashboards, audits, compliance initiatives, and executive decision-making through actionable insights
Requirements

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
  • Preferred (if applicable): Master’s Degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

Skills:

  • Extensive expertise in data governance, enterprise reporting, data architecture, and healthcare analytics
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, healthcare compliance requirements, and managed care operations
  • Advanced experience with SQL databases, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Proven leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills with executive-level stakeholders
