CommQuest Services, Inc. is seeking a Director of Community-Based Services for our Canton Outpatient location. The Director of Community-Based Services oversees a team of case managers who work in various fields such as social work, behavioral and mental health, chemical dependency, and community services while supporting and directing client access to necessary resources.

CommQuest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage a team of case managers, employment specialists, and other social services staff, providing guidance, support and supervision to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Accept referrals to supervised programs and assign appropriate staff. Provide guidance on complex cases or interventions and responding to client emergency situations
  • Communicate and collaborate with other service providers, agencies, employers, funders, community resources, and criminal justice entities to ensure clients have access to the support and services they need, with both existing and new cases
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and thorough case records, including documentation of client assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Reporting program outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Perform clinical record keeping.
  • Provide client and family education.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required
  • Minimum LPCC-S / LISW-S licensure issued through the State of Ohio.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Operations, including a minimum 3 years' supervisory experience
  • Previous experience with EHR systems and/or NextGen is preferred
  • Previous experience providing both mental health and AOD services highly desired
  • Previous experience providing trauma informed and evidence-based counseling is highly desired
  • Must be willing to work with adolescents and adults, providing individual and group counseling
