Salary:

$100,000- $140,000/yr plus bonus

Summary:

Responsible for organizing, directing, and controlling operational activities across division, to achieve specified cost and profit objectives and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications across our clients.

Essential Duties:

  • Possess a detailed knowledge of the operations at each site (contract, scope of work, building type, client nuances, etc..).
  • Assure the delivery and execution of all contracted janitorial services within the division.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all client locations.
  • Maintain frequent communication and contact across all client sites via phone calls, emails, and site visits.
  • Work closely with supervisors and managers to develop their operational knowledge and management capabilities.
  • Continuously monitor the overall performance of each site and make appropriate changes as needed.
  • Work directly with client and internal teams to ensure billing and collections are processed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all GDI safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate any employee accidents or near misses.
  • Partner with local and national 3rd party vendors and suppliers for onsite material, supplies and equipment.
  • Negotiate modifications to compensation or staffing plans based on site specific needs.
  • Work with sales team to develop and grow the business / represent the GDI brand.
  • Oversight of all employees in the region with direct supervision of all employees reporting to sites within territory including but not limited to Area Managers, Account Managers, and Cleaners.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of multi-unit, high volume Operations Leadership within Commercial Cleaning space.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
  • Strong customer service and employee relations skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
  • High integrity and discretion required.
