Performance reviews will occur every 6-12 months. Each year, opportunities for salary increase and advancement will occur based on performance.

The Fredericksburg Soccer Club Incorporated (FSCI), a youth soccer club based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, has an opening for a Director of Coaching (Boys or Girls). FSCI offers a travel soccer program, recreation academy program, and training programs.
Director of Coaching : Full-time position available. The Director of Coaching (DOC) will work with either the girls' program or boys' program within our travel soccer program. We are looking for an individual who values player development and can implement our philosophy of developing the person first and athlete second.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
  • Work with the coaches in the program.
  • Coach teams in the program
  • Recruit and identify players for the program
  • Individual and group parent/player meetings to show growth and value
  • Ensure coaching coverage exists for all games and practices
  • Work with the technical director to implement the curriculum and culture.
  • Perform video analysis and show value to stakeholders
  • Support event logistics such as tournaments, camps, leagues, etc.

Requirements for the Position:
  1. Hold at least a USSF C License or related license.
  2. Ability to demonstrate technical skills and teach players.
  3. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  4. Excellent IT Skills, specifically using spreadsheets, presentations, word processors, etc.

At least ONE of the following desired attributes:
  1. Ability to speak both English and Spanish
  2. Previous management, sales, or marketing experience
  3. Previous work experience as a teacher or psychologist
  4. Played the game at the high school, college, or professional level
