Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635

Hiring Cath Lab Technologists (Cath Lab Tech / Rad Tech) to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cath Lab Tech will assist physicians and clinical teams during procedures by operating imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique, preparing supplies and devices, monitoring patient status, and ensuring procedure workflow is efficient and safe.
This role requires strong knowledge of cath lab procedures, fluoroscopy imaging, hemodynamics, and compliance with patient safety and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist cardiologists and providers with diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
• Prepare cath lab suite, equipment, and sterile field before procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy/imaging equipment as required for procedures
• Support procedure workflow including patient prep, positioning, and monitoring support
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards at all times
• Assist with catheter, wire, stent, and device preparation and handling (as applicable)
• Monitor and document procedure details, supplies, and contrast usage (as applicable)
• Support emergency response in the cath lab environment
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR and cath lab records
• Participate in equipment checks, QA procedures, and supply inventory management
• Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Must-Have Requirements
Certification: Must have a current CVT OR ARRT OR RCIS - Required
Experience: 1-2 years of Cath Lab / Interventional / Cardiac procedure experience required
ACLS: Must obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
• Prior experience in cardiac catheterization lab in hospital setting
• Experience with hemodynamics monitoring and documentation
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures (PCI, stents, balloon angioplasty, etc.)
• Strong teamwork and ability to perform under pressure in critical procedure environment
• Familiarity with radiation safety and fluoroscopy best practices
