Job description

Step into the dynamic and rewarding role of an Audio Engineering Instructor at F.I.R.S.T. Institute, where you can share your passion and expertise with aspiring audio professionals. While teaching experience is preferred, it is not required; we seek a seasoned Audio Engineer with hands-on experience in Pro Tools, Logic, and various audio technologies relevant to studio and live sound settings. Your primary responsibility will be to impart this invaluable knowledge to the next wave of audio engineering talent. Key Responsibilities

  • Instructing FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic, and various software plug-ins

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of field-related experience
  • 3+ years of working experience with Pro Tools and Logic (Required)

  • Studio and live production experience with mixing consoles, microphones, and patchbays
  • Solid understanding of audio production types: studio recording/mixing, live music, corporate A/V
  • Passion for inspiring and mentoring others
  • Experience in advanced recording arts, including audio for video. Knowledgeable about mixing consoles, control surfaces, and MIDI workflows.
  • Flexible schedule.
