What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with facility leadership and the Medical Director to develop, implement, and evaluate infection prevention goals and action plans
  • Identify and monitor infection risks, including transmission methods, incubation periods, and symptoms
  • Ensure a facility-wide infection prevention and surveillance system for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Assist with outbreak investigations and guide mitigation efforts to stop the spread of infection
  • Support required reporting to local, state, and national agencies
  • Foster strong interdisciplinary relationships and build consensus across teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

What You Bring
  • Current RN license
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a long-term care environment
  • Infection Prevention CDC Certification (completed or willing to complete)
  • Working knowledge of state rules and regulations
  • Passion for improving the lives of residents
  • Positive, can-do attitude with excellent attendance and reliability
