Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer at Froedtert Theda Care Health, you'll play a critical role in implementing and operating the high-performance network empowering our patient care.

In this role, you'll serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise networks spanning across clinics, hospitals, data centers, cloud, and a remote workforce. You'll have direct involvement in the full lifecycle of all our network platforms & services – LAN, SDWAN, Data Center, Cloud, Wireless, & Firewall. You'll be a thought leader to help drive innovation and the exceptional delivery of network services.

You'll participate in the implementation, capacity planning, support & optimization of our network infrastructure. This engineer applies expert experience, knowledge, and skills to deliver secure, fault tolerant, scalable, repeatable, & flexible infrastructure for our operations. You'll support & troubleshoot network and application opportunities, coordinate implementations with staff & vendor personnel. You'll be a knowledgeable resource for other engineers both on your team, across the organization, and for management.

Preferred Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will preferably have a certification at the professional level or greater from Cisco or Palo Alto (e.g. CCNP, CCIE, or PCNSE).

Experience with automation methods across a variety of network technologies and platforms is preferred.

Cloud, Terraform, Ansible, & Python experience are also preferred.

Candidates with strong skills in ACI, CatC, ISE, Meraki, SDWAN, Cisco (FMC) & Palo (Panorama) security solutions in a Zero Trust Model are highly encouraged to apply
