Job description

Weโ€™re looking for a Senior Network Engineer who can architect, secure, and scale enterprise networks from scratch, someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and building environments that donโ€™t already exist. With 150+ new Fortinet firewalls coming online, this role will play a critical part in shaping our clientsโ€™ future network and security landscape.

This is a hybrid/remote (Fridayโ€™s remote), direct-hire opportunity located in Irving, TX.

COMP: Up to $140K-$150K depending on candidateโ€™s experience, etc.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO:

  • Design, build & secure enterprise networks from the ground up (wired, wireless, voice & security)
  • Own and manage large-scale Fortinet environments, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
  • Lead network architecture across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud (Azure)
  • Drive firewall deployments at scale and continuously enhance security posture
  • Integrate networks for newly acquired companies
  • Serve as a Tier 2/3 escalation point, mentoring junior engineers & guiding troubleshooting efforts
  • Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively optimize the network
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver infrastructure projects on time
  • Maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and standards
  • Ensure consistent global routing and switching practices
  • Participate in change management and continuous process improvement

WHAT YOUโ€™LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience (datacenter required)
  • Proven experience designing and building networks, not just monitoring them
  • 5+ years of hands-on Fortinet firewall experience (non-negotiable)
  • Deep knowledge of routing protocols and network security principles
  • Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Preferred: CCNA, CCNP, or similar certification, Cisco ISE, Ruckus Wireless, SD-WAN experience, Multi-cloud or advanced Azure networking exposure
