Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Network Architect - 18391. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Digital Ecosystem (DE) on the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get To Do:

Execute a comprehensive network strategy, aligned with the organization's goals, and focuses on digital engineering, digital thread, and advanced analytics across weapon system design for initial development through sustainment.

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable network infrastructure, to include network design, architecture, specifications, and equipment selection per DoD requirements.

Collaborate with engineering and business leaders to align data initiatives with program goals.

Responsible for design and implementation of network configurations and coordinating with the peers, SMEs, and government engineers.

Review, analyze, and incorporate technical requirements into end-to-end system architectures

Develop and enable program network risks management process in concurrence with program risk management.

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging Industry and DoD trends and technologies in network frameworks, management and analytics and ensure proper utilization where applicable.

Mentor and support building a high-performing network team.

Work with Cyber SSE Lead to drive the end-to-end RMF process, produce System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Plans (SAPs), and POA&Ms.

This position standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Masters' Degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 8 years of relevant experience. 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree

Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Demonstrated expertise in designing, architecting, and deploying complex network infrastructures.

Experience producing Network Topology Diagrams and deployment guides for rapid field setup.

Software Engineering Experience

Amazon Cloud/Hybrid Cloud Experience A must

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Master's degree or Ph.D. in data engineering, data science, computer science, cloud computing, or a related field.

Active DoD Top Secret clearance

Certifications: Network+, CCNP, CCIE, Security+

Experience with or understanding network automation scripting using Ansible, Python, Bash, and Shell.

Secure Network Design

SYSML and UAF Models Experience

Experience with DISA STIGs as they apply to network devices

Primary Level Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $208,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
