Job Description:
Skilled Workforce is seeking a qualified NCCER Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in the construction industry. As an NCCER Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students enrolled in our virtual programs. The classes will be conducted virtually, and instructors must follow instructions from the Program Director.
Responsibilities:
  • Following all policies and procedures related to training and testing.
  • Using NCCER curriculum for instruction.
  • Never sharing NCCER account login information.
  • Working with the Training Program Director or Manager for any special needs/accommodation requests.
  • Ensuring evaluations by learners are conducted.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and security of all training and testing materials.
  • Maintaining training and testing documentation for audit purposes.
  • Following all NCCER policies and procedures, including any implemented between publication dates of these Accreditation Standards.
  • Understanding adult learning theory and using instructional aids effectively.
  • Adapting instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • NCCER certification in the relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the construction industry.
