Program Manager, Senior - SEA 21 / DPAE Maritime

Full Time Arlington, VA, US

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually

We are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager located in the Washington, D.C. area.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Program Manager will provide program management support to D PAE Maritime/SEA 21, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives. (Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs or tasks.)
  • Define, organize, and direct short- and long-range program plans, including formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach, and defining and negotiating for necessary resources.
  • Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
  • Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
  • Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
  • Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist inthe preparation and closure of action items
  • Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
  • Attend meetings and program reviews, assist withcompiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professionalcertifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience providing program management support to U.S. Navy program offices
  • Proficiency using MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in businessor financial related field from an institution accredited in the United States
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
