We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
How We LEAD:
The Director, Catalog Production helps bring iconic music to life through dynamic, culturally relevant catalog releases that celebrate artistry and innovation. This role contributes to the creation of exceptional physical and digital products - from collectible vinyl and anniversary box sets to special-edition releases that give timeless music a fresh voice and new energy.
Rooted in collaboration, precision, and creative execution, this position works closely with design, A&R, marketing, and supply chain teams to help ensure products are expertly crafted and seamlessly produced. Every detail - from artwork to delivery - reflects the care and legacy of the music itself.
At its core, this role is about helping craft experiences that fans can hold onto, turning legendary recordings into meaningful, lasting moments.
How You'll CREATE:
  • Support the production of catalog releases that inspire fans and collectors - including deluxe box sets, limited vinyl runs, and special anniversary campaigns.
  • Collaborate with A&R, Creative, Marketing, D2C, and International teams to translate creative ideas into tangible, high-quality products.
  • Partner with printers, manufacturers, mastering studios, and the UMG supply chain to ensure accuracy, timing, and quality in all deliverables.
  • Manage key aspects of the production process - including artwork prep, pre-press, mastering, and delivery - while keeping creative intent and execution aligned.
  • Track and coordinate production timelines and milestones across multiple releases, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
  • Explore and recommend new materials, packaging, and production techniques that elevate the fan experience.
  • Assist with digital companion releases, ensuring alignment between physical and digital versions.
  • Work with global teams to adapt releases for different markets while maintaining consistency and creative integrity.

Bring Your VIBE:
  • A creative production professional with 5-7 years of experience in music, entertainment, or design-driven product development.
  • Passionate about music, creativity, and craftsmanship, with an appreciation for legacy and innovation.
  • Knowledgeable in physical manufacturing, printing, design, pre-press, and mastering workflows, with high attention to detail.
  • Experienced in digital production and asset management, ensuring smooth coordination across platforms.
  • An excellent communicator and collaborative team member who thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, solution-oriented, and committed to delivering quality at every step.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional physical releases that engage audiences and elevate artists.
  • A balanced mix of creative thinking and technical understanding.
  • Curiosity for new production methods, sustainable materials, and innovative packaging.
  • Familiarity with UMG systems or similar production workflows is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Why This Role Rocks:
  • You'll play a vital role in shaping how fans experience some of the most influential music ever made - bringing catalog to life through creativity, detail, and innovation.
  • Your work will help connect classic recordings with new generations, proving that great music never stops evolving.
  • This is a chance to contribute to projects that honor the past while pushing the boundaries of what catalog can be.
  • You're inspired by creativity and precision in equal measure.
  • You love collaboration and value being part of a passionate, dynamic team.
  • You think critically, communicate clearly, and care deeply about quality.
  • You're driven to make legendary music feel fresh, relevant, and alive.
