Description -
Job Summary
This role provides advanced tactical and strategic administrative support to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Microfluidics Technology & Incubations (MTI).
The MTI organization, with teams across multiple geographies, is responsible for the development of microfluidics-based products and new business incubations for HP. This includes the development of future ink supplies for the HP print business as well as the end-to-end business management of HP's 3D printing business.
The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner to the SVP, enabling operational efficiency, effective decision-making, and seamless coordination across the MTI organization and broader enterprise. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail, along with a proactive mindset and a commitment to enabling leadership effectiveness and team success for the global organization.
This is an opportunity to work in a very dynamic environment and be part of an international team with worldwide responsibilities and a focus on driving innovation and value creation for HP and its customers.
Responsibilities
  • Manages complex and dynamic executive calendars, scheduling across multiple time zones, prioritizing requests, and ensuring alignment with business-critical activities.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintains strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Coordinates domestic and international travel and expense management.
  • Acts as a gatekeeper and primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, exercising sound judgment in filtering, prioritizing, and responding to communications on behalf of the SVP.
  • Coordinates and prepares for executive meetings, leadership forums, and offsites, including agenda development, materials preparation, and logistics including venue, catering, and audio-visual set-up.
  • Supports rhythm-of-the-business operations and leadership cadences for MTI including staff meetings, business reviews, employee and site engagement activities.
  • Develops and produces administrative, utilization, and operational reports to support strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and executive decision-making.
  • Partners with executive assistants, chiefs of staff, and functional leaders across the organization to ensure alignment and smooth execution of cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Coordinates administrative workflows across teams, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to HP policies and procedures.
  • Provides general administrative office support and assists with site business and engagement activities.

Education & Experience Recommended
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training preferred.
  • Typically, 10 years of related experience in senior or executive-level administrative support, preferably supporting a VP or SVP in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting technology, R&D, or innovation organizations preferred.
