• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of various mood disorder symptoms, guided by evidence-based evaluation techniques.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs. This will include incorporating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance understanding and promote mental well-being.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans in response to evolving needs.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, medical specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to continually refine therapeutic approaches and enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to improve clinical skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigmatization and working to meet their unique needs within the community.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families navigating relationship challenges, including divorce and family restructuring. You will provide essential support and guidance to help clients develop healthier communication patterns and coping strategies. Your expertise will be invaluable in assisting clients in building stronger connections and resolving conflicts.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is necessary.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• A high degree of empathy, compassion, and nonjudgmental attitudes towards clients’ experiences and struggles is essential.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities are critical for managing caseloads and administrative duties efficiently.

• Experience in specific modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, or narrative therapy is highly preferred.
• Previous work with diverse populations and an understanding of various socio-cultural backgrounds can enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Experience providing therapy in a remote setting may be advantageous, showcasing your adaptability to virtual care delivery.
