• Provide individualized therapy services to clients, addressing their unique mental health concerns through tailored interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients’ relational and psychological needs, forming and implementing personalized treatment plans.
• Employ family systems theory and diverse therapeutic modalities to explore and resolve relationship dynamics and communication issues.
• Respond promptly to crises by providing immediate support, developing safety plans, and coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date, thorough, and confidential documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Educate clients and their families on effective communication strategies, conflict resolution, and emotional coping techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, ensuring a coordinated approach to treatment.
• Engage in continuous professional development by keeping abreast of the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele encompassing adults, children, and adolescents. The clinic primarily serves individuals and families facing various challenges, including those related to anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, and familial discord. You will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of these issues and foster impactful therapeutic relationships as you guide clients toward healthier pathways.

• Must hold a current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• At least three years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Proven effectiveness in providing outpatient therapy services preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills are essential.
• Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality in therapy.
• Able to function both independently and as part of a dynamic clinical team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the diverse needs of clients.

• Experience with telehealth services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Experience working with at-risk populations or in community health settings.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
